About this project
In this project, we created a self-contained, bright 150-sqft space in just 4 weeks by building directly on the existing back deck (terrace) – no foundation work or major renovation needed.
We constructed the frame structure from scratch: insulated walls and ceiling, installed wiring, a wall-mounted heater, and finished the interior with natural cedar siding instead of drywall for a warm, textured feel. Large panoramic windows and sliding glass doors fill the room with natural light and open up a stunning forest view.
The roof was custom-designed to match the style of the main house and seamlessly integrated with the existing structure..
