For a pair of tech professionals from California, we transformed an outdated house into a modern, functional residence.

In 8 months, we completed a large-scale transformation, increasing the total area of the house by almost 80%, adding 1283 square feet and bringing the total living area to 3500 sq. feet. As a result of the renovation, this house was resold for $931,000 more than its initial cost.

The 1960s house originally had only one floor and an attic, but we designed and built a full second floor with a large bedroom, bathroom, spacious hallway, and walk-in closet, also adding a cozy reading nook with a panoramic window. On the first floor, thanks to a complete reconfiguration, we created a spacious open-plan living room and a huge kitchen with custom built-in cabinets, an updated master bedroom with a walk-in closet and private bath, a separate laundry room, a full guest bathroom, and a convenient powder room.

All permits were obtained on time — the first quick permit was approved 2 months after submission, and we immediately began work that did not require additional approval to optimize the timeline as much as possible. We received full building rights 3 months later and immediately proceeded with large-scale construction.
